The Restaurant at The Walnut Tree Hotel, with an AA Rosette, is one of the best places to dine in the Bridgwater area.
Our Head Chef Charlotte Baum and her team offer high quality dining in the heart of Somerset, creating dishes using locally sourced produce. In Somerset we are spoilt for choice for great quality food and we look to source the best of the best. Our Beef is supplied from Fordgate Farm and Bason Bridge Farm, just 2 miles away. All our pork is from Glastonbury, produced by Mr Moon. Our Lamb is 100% Somerset, sourced by Pyne’s of Somerset. Our Fish comes from Brixham Fisheries, supplied on a daily basis and we ensure that our ingredients come from sustainable sources. Somerset is renowned for Cheese and we have chosen some of Somerset’s finest such as out Brie which comes from Cricket St Thomas near Chard.
Our menu features delicious seasonal, modern British dishes, created using ingredients that are locally sourced where possible, from suppliers who share our passion about food. Lunch – 12:00pm to 2:30pm every day
Dinner – 6:30pm to 9:30pm
