The Restaurant at The Walnut Tree Hotel, with an AA Rosette, is one of the best places to dine in the Bridgwater and Taunton area.

Our Head Chef and his team offer high quality dining in the heart of Somerset, creating dishes using locally sourced produce. In Somerset we are spoilt for choice for great quality food and we look to source the best of the best. Our Beef is supplied from Fordgate Farm and Bason Bridge Farm, just 2 miles away. All our pork is from Glastonbury, produced by Mr Moon. Our Lamb is 100 percent Somerset, sourced by Pynes of Somerset. Our Fish comes from Brixham Fisheries, supplied on a daily basis and we ensure that our ingredients come from sustainable sources. Somerset is renowned for Cheese and we have chosen some of Somerset’s finest from Hawkridge Dairy, one of the best cheese producers in Somerset – in fact they supply our cheese, milk and cream.

Our menu features delicious seasonal, modern British dishes, created using ingredients that are locally sourced where possible, from suppliers who share our passionate about food. Take a look at our Sample Menu and our Wine List.

Lunch – 12 noon to 2:30pm every day
Dinner – 6:30pm to 9:30pm Monday to Saturday, 7pm to 9pm Sunday
